Cause for celebration!!!

 

I wrote my first song for piano this week

Working 40hrs with no classes leaves a lot of free time

So I sat myself down, the other day, in front of the keys and went at it

It's not written about anybody in particular

Just me playing around

Anyways I was so excited, I told my friend Adam

Who insisted on recording it with GarageBand on his iPad

So we did and now I'm even more stoked about it

I made it into a lyric video with cheesy pictures

So I could share it with my family

And I thought I'd share it with you too

Finals are over

I got 91% on a paper I pulled an all-nighter last week to write

The best all-nighter of my life

This time tomorrow I will be in Maui

and summer will have officially begun

 A summer that has a plan and direction

and you know how much I love plans

Not to mention I'm not taking classes until July

No blasted homework for 3 months!

This.is.Bliss.

inspire me

Ever since I was a little girl my big brother would play Jon Schmidt's music on the piano.

Every time I hear the mezmorizing melodies I'm taken back. 

To a time when school was done curled up on a couch, books splayed across the floor. 

When jumping on the tramp, climbing trees, and making forts we're encouraged. 

When the cares of the world slipped by unnoticed. 

When anything was possible. 

And I become inspired.
